Numerical simulation of a SEA Arrow Bow for a fishing vessel

چکیده

The hull designs of the Peruvian fishing fleet lack hydrodynamic studies, which is why, in present work, a study resistance to advance classical model type mentioned, called "MMS", carried out. An experimental numerical correlation out with this validate proposed methodology.
 methodology uses CFD using Ansys-Fluent software, considering turbulent behaviour for multiphase fluid (water-air), mesh inflation layers and refinements, among other characteristics. results show maximum error 5% relation obtained experimentally. Based on methodology, adaptation SEA Arrow bow MMS analysed. new proposal consider decrease up 10% total at different operating speeds.
